QUESTION 19
You are using budgeting and active availability control. How can availability control be activated? Note: There are 2 correct answers to this question

Automatic activation with budget assignment

Automatic activation with assignment to an investment program

Background activation (CJBV – Activate Availability Control) l

Automatic activation with the first actual posting

Availability control is a function that monitors whether the budget for a project is sufficient for planned and actual costs. Availability control can be activated in different ways depending on the settings in the availability control profile and the tolerance limits. Some of these ways are:
Automatic activation with budget assignment: Availability control is activated when you assign budget to a WBS element or a network activity.
Automatic activation with the first actual posting: Availability control is activated when you post the first actual cost to a WBS element or a network activity. Reference: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/4dd8cb7b1c484b4b93af84d00f60fdb8/79ceb65334

QUESTION 20
You are using WBS elements and activities are NOT assigned. Which statements apply to the maintenance of the actual start and finish? Note: There are 2 correct answers to this question

You can only maintain the actual finish if all lower-level WBS elements have an actual finish date and the status of the WBS element is “Released”

You can always maintain the actual start if the WBS element has the status “Released” or “Partially released”

You can always maintain the actual start and finish date of a WBS element

You can only maintain the actual start of a WBS element if the finish date is not maintained

If you are using WBS elements and activities are not assigned, you can always maintain the actual start and finish date of a WBS element manually or automatically. However, you can only maintain the actual start if the WBS element has the status “Released” or “Partially released”, which means it is ready for processing or partially ready for processing. You can maintain the actual finish regardless of the status of the WBS element. Reference: https://help.sap.com/doc/0f069b2e08b748f1b480d4c8b46c3c49/100/en-US/6a7a9f0a6e421014e10000000a174cb4.html

QUESTION 22
What are some of the advantages of using project simul-ations? Note: There are 3 correct answers to this question

Project simulations allow posting of actual data

Project simulations can be created without using an operational project as a template

Project simulations can be used to plan structures and costs

Project simulations can create purchase requisitions

Multiple project simulations can be used simultaneously

Project simulations are some of the advantages of using project simulations in SAP Project System. Project simulations are copies of projects that allow you to plan and simulate different scenarios without affecting operational projects. Project simulations can be created without using an operational project as a template, which means you can start from scratch or use a standard structure. Project simulations can be used to plan structures and costs, which means you can create and change WBS elements, networks, activities, and cost elements. Multiple project simulations can be used simultaneously, which means you can compare different alternatives and choose the best one. QUESTION 25
What are some of the possible functions in user status profiles? Note: There are 2 correct answers to this question.

Ensure user status must always be set manually

Allow business processes forbidden by SAP system status

Restrict setting user status for individual users

Utilize priorities for setting the user status

User status profiles are used to define additional statuses for project objects that can control their business processes. User status profiles can allow business processes that are forbidden by SAP system status, such as releasing a project that is locked by SAP system status. User status profiles can also restrict setting user status for individual users by assigning authorization keys to user statuses. How can the system activate requirements (such as reservations or purchase requisitions)?
Note: There are 2 correct answers to this question

Immediately, by saving the project

Automatically, using the requirement date and the replenishment lead time

Using a standard milestone activity

When releasing a network or an activity

The system can activate requirements (such as reservations or purchase requisitions) in different ways, depending on the settings in customizing and master data. Some of these ways are:
Immediately, by saving the project: This means that the system creates requirements for all materials assigned to WBS elements or activities as soon as you save the project. This option requires that you set the indicator “Requirements immediately” in customizing for your project profile.
When releasing a network or an activity: This means that the system creates requirements for all materials assigned to a network or an activity when you release them. This option requires that you set the indicator “Requirements on release” in customizing for your network type or activity type. QUESTION 28
Your customer’s projects are subject to recurring changes of date. The assembly activity has an earliest start date of February 10 and lasts until February 20. The customer wants to assign a material component so that this will be in stock 5 days in advance. Note: Every day is a working day. What do you recommend to set up the requirement date for the component ?

Set up the requirement date aligned with the activity finish date and an offset of 15 days.

Set up the requirement date manually as February 5.

Set up the requirement date aligned with the activity start date and an offset of 5 days

Set up the requirement date aligned with the activity start date and a negative offset of 5 days

QUESTION 29
Where do you control whether a project stock is managed as valuated or non-valuated project stock?

In the network activity

In the project definition

In the WBS element

In the material master

To control whether a project stock is managed as valuated or non-valuated project stock, you have to maintain the setting in the material master. The material master is a set of data that defines the characteristics and properties of a material that can be produced or procured. The material master contains various views that store different types of information about a material, such as basic data, sales data, purchasing data, accounting data, and so on. In the accounting view of the material master, you can specify whether a material is relevant for valuated project stock or not by using the Valuation category field. The valuation category is a parameter that determines how a material is valuated in different stock accounts. If you select Q as the valuation category for a material, it means that the material is relevant for valuated project stock and its value is updated in Financial Accounting. If you leave the valuation category blank for a material, it means that the material is relevant for non-valuated project stock and its value is not updated in Financial Accounting. QUESTION 32
Which of the following business processes do NOT lead to the booking of actual costs to an object? Note: There are2 correct answers to this question

Goods receipt into unvaluated project stock

Recording of external services in the service entry sheet

Goods receipt of a non-stock item

Goods receipt into valuated project stock

Goods receipt into unvaluated project stock and goods receipt of a non-stock item do not lead to the booking of actual costs to an object. Goods receipt into unvaluated project stock does not affect inventory valuation or accounting documents, therefore no actual costs are posted. Goods receipt of a non-stock item does not affect inventory valuation either, but only updates the purchase order history and statistical delivery costs, therefore no actual costs are posted.
